Returning to Myself
I once saw my taekwondo journey as a broken dream I had abandoned. Years of discipline, strength, and identity slipped away after a pause that became permanent. I carried guilt and resentment toward myself and my mother for not holding on. But in confronting that guilt, I realised the dream was never broken, only paused. What held me back was fear and lack of ownership. Now, I see that beginning again is still within my control.
